I redesigned an existing social post with lower engagement from Medtronic’s Cardiac and Vascular LinkedIn platform. My goal was to design a new ad to increase engagement and interaction with the target audience, health care providers and patients.
I identified strengths and areas of improvement in the current LinkedIn posts. The most effective ads were simple yet impactful, often motivating users to take action or keep reading. I also researched the tone of voice, animation, and visual style used in current social media materials.
My storyboard sketches focused on the quick solution that Heart Device Answers would offer to patients if they visited the site, potentially increasing the amount of site visitors and maintaining customer loyalty.
The redesign demonstrates an immediate solution to patients’ questions about heart devices. The updated copy and animated heart monitor keep the user engaged, directing them to the Heart Device Answers website. Additionally, the link can be found below the ad providing easier accessibility.
